But our journey takes us further, and we find ourselves in grave danger: Vlada Rizzi commands a camp for forgotten children… Through carefully crafted language, Peter Svetina conjures a meticulously imagined world that subtly reflects the moral and ethical questions of our everyday lives. With a generous dose of humour and even affection for human quirks and weaknesses, the author cuts to the heart of today’s most pressing problems while also pointing clearly towards a solution. |
