Opis: The Growing Dictionary of the Slovenian Language contains new lexis that is gaining ground in Slovenian and hasn’t been yet recorded in other dictionaries (suggestions for entries are mainly made by language users) and, to somewhat lesser degree, the newest meanings of the lexis that has already been included in other dictionaries. The headwords are equipped with a full range of morphological data and key data on the word’s meaning, use and its potential markedness. As far as nouns denoting people are concerned, the dictionary also includes feminine forms of nouns as headwords as soon as they are detected in language material.
