"The collection of short stories began to take shape with the realization that the Prize gained by breaking through into life is far from what was promised, and is not awarded to us alone. It continued with the search for the true Path—or rather, paths—which turned out to be routed differently and leading elsewhere. Lost beneath the Summit, I discovered that the ultimate peak is not always where it seems, nor is it what one expects, nor as high as it appears. My wandering led me to the Edge—to my own impassable walls and precipices, unknown fears, and inexplicable illusions. And when I knew neither the way nor the destination, I drifted into "Shared Diaries", into a world of dreamlike heights, muddy lowlands, and an unfathomable blend of pain and happiness. A world born of dreams. Suddenly, the world seemed illogical—akin to a "Non-story," an uncontrolled and unique awakening from a dream. And as with all endings, reality eventually caught up with me. For the more I tried to run away, the more entangled I became in the Web—without knowing who had spun it, when I had found myself inside it, or how I would ever break free..."
