There once was a little girl named Katarinca. One day, she ran to her grandfather, who was dozing in his armchair, and complained that she wanted to have a teddy bear. At first, her grandfather asked in surprise where he was supposed to find one. Katarinca immediately replied that bears live in the forest and that he would surely find one there. Grandfather wasn’t particularly excited about taking a walk through the forest in the cold autumn. But because he loved Katarinca very much (and she loved him too), he promised that he would find a bear and invite it home.
