On Thursday, 18.6.2020, an e-conference on Research Data and European Open Science Cloud took place. The conference intended to present development in establishing a national node of Research Data Alliance (RDA Node Slovenia) and presenting achievements thus far.

What’s new:

SyntaxFest 2025 conference
We are pleased to announce that SyntaxFest 2025, co-supported by CLARIN.SI, took place last week (August 26–29) at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana. The event brought together 135 participants from 34 countries and featured over 80 papers on syntax-related language resources, technologies, and research.

The conference also featured presentations of resources and services hosted by CLARIN.SI, including STARK, ComparaTree, ELEXIS-WSD, Šolar, Učbeniki, and SUK/ROG.

ParlaMint 5.0 Release
We are happy to announce that version 5.0 of the ParlaMint corpora has been released, which is available for download in three variants: Multilingual comparable corpora of parliamentary debates ParlaMint 5.0, with linguistic annotations and machine translated to English. The corpora are also integrated into the CLARIN.SI noSketch Engine concordancer.

As opposed to the previous version, version 5.0 adds information on the automatically computed CAP (Comparative Agendas Project) topic of each speech and sentence-level sentiment for all corpora, as well as correcting some errors in individual corpora.
