 Description

This entry contains the first part of the audiobook "Na poti v nebesa sem se oglasil v peklu" (On my way to heaven, I stopped by hell) by author Evald Flisar and narrated by Boris Car (COBISS.SI-ID 304201475, ISBN 978-961-7279-65-8). Travel is more than moving from place to place; it is also an opportunity to explore our thoughts, beliefs and questions that have no simple answers. In this collection of four travel essays, Evald Flisar weaves personal experiences together with philosophical reflections, intriguing encounters and witty observations about the world. His journeys take him beyond unfamiliar places and cultures to explore human nature, life’s paradoxes and different perspectives on reality. The author’s relaxed, perceptive and often humorous style turns even complex questions about the meaning of life, our beliefs and the search for truth into an engaging narrative. Each new experience becomes a starting point for reflection, while every answer raises further questions. "On my way to heaven, I stopped by hell" is a collection of essays for anyone interested in travel, philosophy and exploring the world with curiosity. The book invites us to consider how encounters with the unfamiliar change us and what we can discover about ourselves along the way.
