 Description

This entry contains the first part of the audiobook "Prestreljene sanje" (Shattered dreams) by author Vlado Vrbič (COBISS.SI-ID 300846339, ISBN 978-961-291-580-3), read by Tajda Lekše. Listen to the story of Karel Destovnik, known as Kajuh—a poet, lover, partisan and national hero. Without embellishment or unnecessary flourishes, this novel brings the years before and during the Second World War to life, taking us through his brief yet intense life: from childhood and adolescence to his first loves, poetry, underground resistance work and joining the partisans—all the way to his tragic, untimely death. As we listen, we discover the man behind the poems and immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of the era that shaped his fate.
