This entry contains the first part of the e-book "Cvetličarna v Hiši cvetja" (Flower shop at the house of flowers) by Lazar Džamić translated into Slovenian by Branko Gradišnik and published by Založba /*cf in Ljubljana in 2026 (COBISS.SI-ID: 288100355, ISBN: 978-961-257-099-6). Outside of Italy, the Italian comic strip "Alan Ford" enjoyed popularity only in the former SFRY, where, as a pop culture phenomenon, it exceeded all expectations and achieved cult status: today, it seems as if it were created specifically for the Yugoslav market. The book "The flower shop in the house of flowers", written by the marketing expert, journalist, and columnist Lazar Džamić, is a witty, lucid, and in-depth cultural analysis of the comic and its reception in the SFRY.
