This entry contains the first part of the audiobook "Sršena pičim nazaj" (I sting the hornet back) by author Veronika Razpotnik and Luka Flegar (COBISS ID: 287654403, ISBN: 978-961-7267-14-3). The book critically addresses different forms of violence through its treatment of taboo subjects—including homophobia, transphobia, the sexualization of teenage girls, and domestic violence—and focuses on the survival of a young woman belonging to marginalized groups in an environment where such forms of violence occur. At the same time, however, the title suggests that LGBTQ+ people, women, people with mental health conditions, etc. are not merely passive observers of this violence, but rather “fight back” against it. In this sense, the collection is thematically a continuation of the first. Yet while Krekspot na požarnih štengah was at times distinctly activist in its approach, Sršena pičim nazaj is political through the very existence of socially deprived and marginalized people, addressing broader social issues almost exclusively through intimate relationships.
