Through one family’s personal tragedy, the author exposes the brutality of occupation, the abuse of power and human vulnerability in times of historical upheaval. The longest night is a harrowing historical novel by Leopold Suhodolčan about fear, revenge, love and courage. It received the Kajuh Award. |
