 Description

This entry contains the first part of the audiobook "Le Vida: recepti življenja" (Le Vida: Recipes for life) by author Ninna Kozorog and narrated by Simona Kopinšek (COBISS.SI-ID 303041539, ISBN 978-961-291-583-4). Le Vida: Recipes for life is a unique collection of life stories and traditional recipes gathered by physician and humanitarian Ninna Kozorog through her work with older people in need. The book pairs simple, almost forgotten dishes with moving accounts of lives shaped by poverty, loneliness and hardship. Each recipe carries a piece of personal history, recalling a time when people knew how to turn modest ingredients into nourishing meals. Created as part of the Vida humanitarian project, the book draws attention to the often-overlooked struggles of older people. It is also a tribute to solidarity, human dignity and the power of mutual support. Simply Vida is more than a cookbook; it is a poignant reminder of how important it is to notice the people around us.
