Yet when a singer-songwriter realizes that gaining greater recognition for his songs requires assembling a larger band, all sorts of things happen... Matej Krajnc first places an ad in the newspaper. Then, a mini-history of rock 'n' roll unfolds. Or at least something akin to it: travelers continue to journey through the atomic age, and although more than forty years have passed since the release of the debut album "Izvir"—and far fewer years since the release of the first "Agencija Rokenrol" record—there is still enough of a story to chronicle. And when the singer-songwriter decides to return to a solo path, not even promises from record labels can hold him back. Stories about strummers, prog-rockers, gamblers, and others endure, now captured within the covers of this book. Let us hope they survive in both forms: the written and the musical. That is our sincere intention. |
