On the journey between memories and the present, Julija returns again and again to the moments that shaped her. Love, which has never completely died out, but also never truly come to life, accompanies her like a silent companion that she cannot put down. In dialogues with the past and in silent thoughts by the graves, sadness and hope, regret and quiet happiness that at least something was intertwined. The novel reveals a thin layer of life in which children, duties and routine have built walls, behind which the heart still beats. Every look, every gesture, every word has meaning, because it carries within itself the possibility of another path that remained unchosen.
