<title>Sample from the e-book "Revščina/zakladi" (Poverty/Treasures)</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/11356/2143</link>
<description>Sample from the e-book "Revščina/zakladi" (Poverty/Treasures)
Miklič Perne, Nevenka
This entry includes the first part of the e-book "Revščina/zakladi" (Poverty/Treasures) by author Nevenka Miklič Perne (COBISS.SI-ID 275109123, ISBN 978-961-7272-53-6).&#13;
The collection Poverty/Treasures includes twenty short stories, some of which could be classified as a subgenre of short stories. The heroines who inhabit the stories with their lives are tested at one point or another, and their inner desire is to tell their story, even if their listener is imaginary or they are actually their own listeners. Because your story needs to be investigated and presented like forensics, you need to get to your identity. Others will not dig for your treasures, they will stay on the surface. Regardless of what stage of their life journey the protagonists are at, their storytelling is a need to understand what they have experienced, a moment of purification, of moving from helplessness (poverty) to empowerment (treasures), because the story itself is proof of existence, which is more than nothing (poverty). Some of the heroines still have a lot of work to do to find the value of their story, to forgive themselves, to come to terms with the past, they may run out of time, but they have taken the first step, they have acknowledged their position.

Reichenberg, Mitja
This entry includes the first part of the e-book "Filmi na kratko" (About Movies in Short) by author Mitja Reichenberg (COBISS.SI-ID 275223811, ISBN 978-961-7272-65-9).&#13;
The book is like a walk through the film landscape of the last five years, recorded at a rhythm of 25 frames per second. But don't let this speed fool you - every film, every scene, every frame carries a unique artistic, dramatic or adventurous story. The book is not just a collection of film impressions, but an exciting journey through visual worlds, where stories unfold like light trails on the screen. With a thoughtful overview of stories, backgrounds, creators, music and those invisible threads that intertwine the art of film, we also find ourselves in a time when films found their way to viewers despite the pandemic - whether at festivals, in theaters or in home shelters. The book is dedicated to those titles that attracted attention, shone at the largest festivals or earned prestigious awards.

It is not every day that an ancient animal like the mammoth rises from the dead in Kamnik. The book is first and foremost a story about Kamnik – about the Alpine landscape, about medieval streets, about city institutions and about people rushing about their daily business. A resident of Kamnik has decided to present her city to the world, and her relatively privileged access to knowledge and experience justifies the attention that we are undoubtedly willing to give to her words.

Just as troubadour poetry ennobled women with dignity, honor and respect, Milan's verses sing of Magda's femininity, full of tenderness, grace and dignity. In modern times, this can be done not only by an adult, but only by a mature man who says: "I have crossed the ocean on this endless path to you..." The richly worded verses are placed in space and time, but when read, they give the impression that they are beyond. These dimensions are unknown to everyone.

Stories and poems that step from the invisible into visibility, perceptibility, recognizability, visibility, perceptibility, recognizability, fluidity..., drive a draft through the doors of houses and drive us into the streets, meadows, cities, into distant, deeply felt landscapes, and take the reader in unforeseen turns to mighty lands, are interconnected through an ideological meta-narrative.

The author is engaged in painting intuitive images that are created through channeling angelic messages. The use of language in poetry is an unusual linguistic adventure. We encounter a cinematic sequence of motifs, magical colorful images that pass one into another as associations. Free and spontaneous, they flow through the author's inner world. Images from the real world become surreal, at times bitter, humorous, erotic and esoteric.

This entry includes the first part of the e-book "Šepetanje noči" (Whispering of the night) by author Jana Hartman Krajnc (COBISS.SI-ID 275177987, ISBN 978-961-7272-64-2).&#13;
In the poetry collection "Šepetanje noči" (Whispering of the night) by Jana Hartman Krajnc, the inner world of a woman who gazes with poetic sensitivity into nature, time and human relationships is gently and prudently revealed. The poems reveal maturity, peace and wisdom, but also a longing for beauty, closeness and meaning. With simple images and pure language, the author captures fleeting moments – mornings and evenings, seasons, love, memories and silence – and transforms them into universal images of human existence.

This entry contains the first part of the audiobook "Izgubljeni Prešeren" (Lost Prešeren) by author Ivan Sivec (COBISS ID: 276089603, ISBN: 978-961-7143-64-5).&#13;
&#13;
The story begins when Tina, as a university student, helps clean out the attic of Prešeren's parish in Breznica during the Slovenian Cultural Holiday. Among the old documents, they discover two manuscripts by Prešeren.&#13;
Nejc is in the ninth grade, while Tina has just enrolled at the Faculty of Arts. To mark the Slovenian Cultural Holiday, teaching assistant Dr. Urh, together with his assistant Val, organizes a "Cleaning Up After Prešeren" campaign in Breznica. As they carry down piles of old papers from the attic, they uncover an unknown early love poem by Prešeren. But this extraordinary manuscript suddenly falls into the hands of suspicious individuals. A private detective appears, along with two criminal investigators, and the distinguished Professor Dr. Janez Marn also becomes involved. Meanwhile, unknown assailants even try to intimidate the Erjavec family—happy, or perhaps hilariously dysfunctional—and threaten their lives.
