{"id":7351,"date":"2024-05-06T07:34:32","date_gmt":"2024-05-06T07:34:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.clarin.si\/info\/?p=7351"},"modified":"2024-05-06T07:53:05","modified_gmt":"2024-05-06T07:53:05","slug":"jtdh2024-second-call-for-contributions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.clarin.si\/info\/jtdh2024-second-call-for-contributions\/","title":{"rendered":"JTDH2024: Second Call for Contributions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>You are cordially invited to participate in the conference <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sdjt.si\/wp\/jtdh-2024-en\/\"><em>Language Technologies and Digital Humanities<\/em> (<strong>JTDH 2024<\/strong>)<\/a>, which will take place on <strong>19-20 September 2024 in Ljubljana<\/strong>, <strong>Slovenia<\/strong> &#8211; we invite extended abstracts and full conference papers presenting research in various areas of language technologies and digital humanities.<\/p>\n<p>More information about the conference is available in the full CfP below.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>JTDH 2024: Second Call for Contributions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You are cordially invited to participate in the conference on <em>Language Technologies and Digital Humanities (JTDH 2024)<\/em>, which will take place on 19-20 September 2024 in Ljubljana: https:\/\/www.sdjt.si\/wp\/jtdh-2024\/.<\/p>\n<p>We invite extended abstracts and full conference papers presenting research, guidelines, good practices, projects and results in the following and related areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Speech and other monolingual and multilingual language technologies,<\/li>\n<li>Digital linguistics: translation studies, corpus linguistics, lexicology and lexicography, standardisation,<\/li>\n<li>Digital humanities and historiography, ethnology, musicology, cultural heritage, arts and archaeology,<\/li>\n<li>Digital Humanities in Education and Digital Journalism.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The conference will feature a scientific panel on &#8220;<strong><em>Advances and perspectives in speech communication research<\/em><\/strong>&#8220;. Invited speakers will be <em>Simon Dobnik<\/em>, PhD and <em>Barbara McGillivray<\/em>, PhD.
