The conference intended to present development in establishing a national node of Research Data Alliance (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rd-alliance.org\/groups\/rda-slovenia\">RDA Node Slovenia<\/a><span style=\"background-color: #ffffff; color: #333333; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: justify; white-space: normal; letter-spacing: 0px;\">)<\/span><span style=\"font-size: calc(var(--rem) * 1px * 1.0625); letter-spacing: 0px;\"> and presenting achievements thus far.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: calc(var(--rem) * 1px * 1.0625); letter-spacing: 0px;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: calc(var(--rem) * 1px * 1.0625); letter-spacing: 0px;\">RDA Slovenia Node acts as a connection point between RDA and Slovenian open science stakeholders. Main topics and emphasis ranged from inner-workings of the Node, presenting policies on opening research data in Slovenian scientific publishing and so on. Examples of good practices on handling research data such as <a href=\"https:\/\/project-eirene.eu\/\">EIRENE<\/a> set up the tone for the second part of the conference, and it close with a presentation and open debate on the establishment of <a href=\"https:\/\/open-science-cloud.ec.europa.eu\/\">European Open Science Cloud<\/a> (EOSC) for connection of open science stakeholders in one place. Toma\u017e Erjavec presented the role of Infrastructures for sharing research data in Slovenia.
